The First Post by Scott (FPS)

Hello fokes. I will start by saying that I have no clue who will read this. With my luck it won't be anyone and what I am typing will just be lost in cyberspace just like the 200+ million other blogs that aren't being updated anymore (source BBC). There I did it, a bad reference (violates the IEEE standard), and I'm to be an Engineer. With that out of my system I guess I will introduce myself.

Act I

In the beginning.....[To clichéd].....It started one hot summer of 1988....[to bland].......The once was a boy who lived in Waterloo, Ontario but later moved to New Dundee (a small town outside of Kitchener) when......[this is stupid, this needs a better plot].....It was a dark and stormy night, the trees were trembling under the weight of the wind that was forcing them against their will. In a small trailer was a small boy. No more than age 4 he was shivering with fear of the fierce storm that was so frightening that he never stayed their again......[to commercial like]....[screw it].....

Act II

Collin: Whats this?
Scott: Its called Linux, its another operating system. Kind of like Windows but not.
Shakespeare: Where's the iambic pentametre?
(Aside) Scott: Take that [sends Shakespeare running scared with his awesome knowledge of futuristic technology]
Collin: Wow, I will have to try this out.
Scott: Go ahead its free :)
Later that year..
Collin: Scott. Linux is the best thing ever, it is now my primary operating system and I'm screwing Proprietary software (except ATI drivers because they suck and my card doesn't work otherwise) and am using oss 100% (well 99.9%).
Scott: Ok

Setting: University of Waterloo, in between lectures

Scott: What kind of battry does it use?
Andrei: Battry! Its battery.
Scott: Oops, battery, fine, its just how I say it....I can't help it I'm British
Andrei: Battry!!

Well thats the end. I didn't say much, did I? They might be reading and....and....I've said to much..

But seriously, I have a love for computers. I use both Windows XP MCE 2004, Ubuntu 6.10 and Xubuntu 6.06. I can't understand gamer talk, except for teh, pr0n, and well thats about my vocabulary on it. If you have any questions/comments please drop a line. If you want to say I'm stupid go right ahead, I don't really care because your stupid to! If you have read this far I congratulate you as no one ever reads my things, or leaves comments. I'm not depressed or anything, its just...
