C-A-N-A-D-A

Well as you can see by the title (Canada) there will a good twist to this. -- Well a 20% discounted twist. -- I was recently in Pittsburgh, PA, USA and it was crazy. There were roads that go everywhere. You go left you end up right, you go right you end up behind where you started. I'm not saying its a bad city, on the contrary, its nice. I always find though that being in the USA leaves a feeling of homesickness. It is a strange and different land than Canada. Different rules of the road, different street sign corners, different tax rates. But after looking at home somethings are run there it really makes our government system look odd. (But thats another story).

With that being said, here are some of my favourite things about Canada:
  1. The Flag - the colours of red and white (although the bars should be blue) are nice and simple. Same with the layout, not overly complicated.
  2. The Tax - Ok, so this one sounds horiable (and it is) but it is dependable. We can always count of good ol' 6% G.S.T and the P.S.T (8% in Ont) to be added on top of almost everything that we buy. Its not hidden with in (that might be easier on our brains though) its right there on the bill.
  3. Our Music - Sarah McLachlan, Barenaked Ladies, Avril Lavigne, Diana Krall, Jann Arden, Alanis Morissette, Kim Stockwood, Holy Cole, Gordan Lightfoot, and many many more.
  4. There is to many other things to list. An honourable mention goes to Alfred Graham Bell.
Ok so this post wasn't as good as the last, but I wasn't in the right mindset. I will come up with new ideas as human perceived duration chugs along in it constant direction of forward.
